A writer and teacher with over twenty years of classroom experience, Megan has taught multiple subjects across the arts and humanities to students K-16. She leads professional development workshops for teachers and school leaders throughout Colorado and across the country. She studied theater and dramatic literature for many years, earning degrees from Occidental College and the Ohio State University.
A member and fellow in the Colorado State University Writing Project, Megan is also a 2007 Fund for Teachers Fellow, a two-time Impact on Education Award finalist, and a 2008 Colorado Teacher of the Year nominee. Her writing has appeared in the anthologies Improv: Peace War Love, Ink, Walt Whitman…Your Beard Full of Butterflies, Paris and the Poetry Mermaid, and The Alphabet of the Night.
