The Couch
Imagine if all the couches you ever sat on
were gathered together into one enormous room.
And what if the people who sat there with you
were also brought in? You would enter the room
and you would have to decide
where to sit. You could move from couch to couch
like a water sprite, but eventually
you would have to lie down and rest.
In whose lap
would you place your head?
