Mission of E-Words
This is the second issue of what we hope will be a continuing effort to provide Colorado poets and others in the state’s literary community a place for information, topics of interest, and communication. It can be viewed or attached as email or copied to send to others.
Although the CPC website contains information on more than 100 Colorado poets and some information on readings and publication news, this quarterly newsletter is intended to provide space for news, features, discussion and information-sharing not as possible on the CPC website. Please email the Director with comments and suggestions in order to keep this quarterly relevant and interesting.
Website Corrections: Feela and York
In the last issue, discussing websites belonging to Colorado poets, we accidentally omitted David Feela (www.geocities.com/feelashopy) and Jake York (www.jakeadamyork.com). There may be others as well, so if you’ve been missed or are just putting up a website, let us know and we’ll pass the word on.
New One-Time Fee in Effect
Budgetary concerns, along with increased membership in the CPC and additional tech work, have made us change our approach from free listing. After January 1, 2008, we are charging a one-time fee of $10 to include a new poet’s information. This is not retroactive nor will there be any other charge for up-keep of the site and your information. We will accept donations, though: a check made out to “Colorado Poets Center – UNC” would help us increase our activity and visibility.
