Biography

Carol Guerrero-Murphy has a long history of publishing and teaching poetry, including one book, Table Walking at Nighthawk (Ghost Road Press, 2007, WILLA Award) and a second book, Chained Dog Dreams, forthcoming in November 2019. She is semi-retired, writing full-time and teaching in the Adams State Prison College Program. Ph.D. Denver University. Journal publications include Pilgrimage, Missouri Review, Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner; anthologies include Pilgrimage: Thirty Years; and Even Cowboys Carry Cellphones. She is newly located in the Boulder County/Denver area and looks forward to participating in poetry events throughout the area.
