Biography
Linda Aldrich grew up in New Hampshire and received a B.A in English and French from the University of New Hampshire. She went on to receive an M.A. degree in Theatre Arts from Florida State University and worked as an actress and acting teacher at the Performing Arts Foundation (PAF) Playhouse in Huntington, New York, and the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco. In 2000, she received an MFA in Writing from Vermont College. Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals, among them Indiana Review, Cimarron Review, Elixir, The Denver Quarterly, Ellipsis, The Florida Review, Poet Lore, Third Coast, and Puerto del Sol. Her poem “Woman-without-Arms” won the Emily Dickinson Award 2000 from Universities West Press. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of English and Humanities at Aims Community College.
