Laura Barr holds a B.A. in Humanities from the University of Colorado, a Master’s in Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a certificate in Reading and Writing from Columbia University’s Teachers College. A poet and micro-nonfiction writer, she brings decades of experience helping young people discover the power of their own voices through poetry and personal storytelling. Her work appears in Blue Heron Review and Five Minutes, and she is the author of Linger: 21 Micro Stories on Love and Leave Taking and Scrapbook: A Love Story.
