Biography

Daniel Grandbois is the author of the Indie Next Notable Book and Believer Book Award Reader Survey Selection Unlucky Lucky Days (BOA Editions, 2008); the art novel The Hermaphrodite: An Hallucinated Memoir (Green Integer, 2010), illustrated by Alfredo Benavidez Bedoya (Argentina); Unlucky Lucky Tales (Texas Tech University Press, 2012), illustrated by Fidel Sclavo (Uruguay); and A Revised Poetry of Western Philosophy (Pitt Poetry Series, University of Pittsburgh Press, 2016). His work has appeared in Fiction, Boulevard, Mississippi Review, Conjunctions, and Electric Lit, among others. He lives in Colorado where he’s played in several of the pioneering bands of The Denver Sound.
