Vincent Hostak’s first single authored collection of poems, The Strangest Fire: Poems 2019-2025, was published in May 2026 by Moonstone Arts Press (Philadelphia). Vincent is a poet and media producer living along the Front Range of Colorado. His poems have been published in anthologies including Sonder Midwest, The Dewdrop, The Langdon Review of the Arts in Texas, Lone Star Poetry (Kallisto Gaia Press, Austin), The Senior Class: 100 Poets on Aging (Lamar University Literary Press); and the 30th Annual Poetry Ink Anthology from Moonstone Press. From the blurb: “the collection investigates inter-species survival during a time when all are at risk. Within these poems, landforms, flora, insects, waterways, a fisherman and even a volcano have an opportunity to share their personal histories. They have much to tell us about living justly, compassionately, cooperatively and with good humor in the present moment.” The volume is available from the publisher.
