Biography
Jules Jacob’s collections include Rappaccini’s Garden (White Stag Publishing, 2024), an illustrated collection of poisonous plant poems co-authored with Sonja Johanson, Kingdom of Glass & Seed (Lily Poetry Review Books, 2023), and The Glass Sponge (Finishing Line Press, 2013), a semi-finalist in the New Women’s Voices Series. Poems, interviews, and reviews of the author’s work appear in Plume, Lily Poetry Review, Rust + Moth, Tinderbox, CALYX, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere. Jules’ work has been supported by the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in France and many fine organizations. An Emeritus Master Gardener and former Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, she attended The University of New Hampshire, The Horticultural Therapy Institute, and Colorado State University.
