David M. Perkins is the author of two books, I May or May Not Love You and the forthcoming (Fall, 2021) Post-modern Blues both from Ice Cube Press. When not struggling to deal with the distractions of a life he did not ask for, he has been busy with books, first as the owner of two bookstores in the Denver area, and subsequently as a book publishing executive with the University of Illinois Press, Georgetown University Press, and Oxford University Press (USA) among them. Received the Ann Woodbury Hafen Award from the Poetry Society of Colorado, his poetry has appeared in numerous magazines and journals, including Christopher Street Magazine, High Plains Literary Review, The Bloomsbury Review, When the Bluebird Sings: An Oscar Wilde Journal, The Chariton Review, and elsewhere.
