Biography
Diana Sher is retired after teaching for 35 years. She taught in the English Department of Metropolitan State College for fifteen years. Before that she taught creative writing, composition, and literature at the University of Colorado at Denver, Denver Jewish Day School (formerly Rocky Mountain Hebrew Academy), and the Littleton Public Schools. She is published in over 80 literary and commercial magazines including Kalliope, Kerem, Cape Rock, Concho River Review, Descant, New Delta Review, Potpourri, RE Arts & Letters, Sounding East, The Iconoclast, The Yalobusha Review and the Baltimore Jewish Times. Her chapbook, After I Cut the Cord, was released in 2003 by Finishing Line Press. She is a member of the Denver Woman’s Press Club and volunteers for the Jewish Family Service where she is trained as a para-chaplain.
