Critical Commentary
Darek Thomas has been an active writer in the Corazon de Trinidad Creative District since he moved to our community. He presents his poetry at numerous venues, teaches children’s workshops, and serves on many literary venues including the Get Lit Festival. He is on the forefront of publication with his new book, Overcoming My Fear of Nature, July 2025, Alien Buddha Press. Darek’s diverse background and contemporary concerns are evident in his poetry. His work is sincere, experimental, and intuitive. This voice deserves a large audience.
