Biography

 Born in Rochester, New York, Catherine Wiley has taught in the English Department at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center since 1990. She holds degrees from the University of Chicago, University of Texas at Austin and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and teaches British and American drama, women writers, and poetry workshops. Her poems appear in Kalliope, Small Pond Magazine, Salamander, a women's studies textbook, and other venues. Her chapbook, Failing Better, ailing Better, was a finalist for the 2004 Colorado Book Award in poetry. She lives with her daughter in downtown Denver.
