Biography

Rebecca joined the Jeffco League in 2020. She currently serves as co-chair of the Voter Service Team.
Prior to joining the League, she spent 30 years leading Investor Relations for large public companies, including Coors, US West, MediaOne, AT&T and a number of smaller software start-ups. For the last 10 years of her career, she led strategy and community engagement for Jefferson County Public Library.
The Voter Service Team is charged with providing accurate, balanced, unbiased, nonpartisan information on governmental issues, candidates and elections and encouraging maximum voter registration and participation in Jefferson County. In 2025, they are focused on the following;

  • Educating folks on Special District Elections
  • Publishing and annual Citizen’s Guide
  • Hosting candidate forums for upcoming municipal elections
  • Supporting the County Clerk and Recorder in registering voters at fairs and festivals
  • Supporting High School Election liaisons in registering High School Students to vote
  • Educating adults on the dangers of media mis/disinformation and political polarization

In 2025, they are launching an awards program to support the Secretary of State’s Eliza Pickrell Routt award by offering $500 grants to area high schools who register at least 85% of eligible seniors.

Rebecca lives in Littleton, Colorado, with her husband Jack, with whom she shares two daughters, a son-in-law and four grandchildren. In addition to her work with the League, she enjoys gardening, back-yard birding and writing. In April she published a collection of poetry, Lullaby of Love: Selected Poems – her first publication in more than 40 years. She is currently working on a novel.
