Biography
Neal was born and raised in the Bronx and is a retired chiropractor. He is an exhibiting painter and printmaker with a Master's Degree from SUNY Empire State College in writing and art and he has done chapbook covers for a number of poets including Steve Henn and William Mchaelian, and his artwork has appeared in Nerve Cowboy. In addition, he has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. The majority of his poems center around New York City, mostly the Bronx and Manhattan, relationships, family, and of course, love, as best he knows it. Ziirrn received Honorable Mention Award winner in the Allen Ginsburg poetry contest for 2012, 2015,and 2016
