Biography

Lee is a teacher, traveler, and poet. He helps lead the Writers Block Poetry Collective in Boulder, organize the Boulder Poetry Scene, and curate volumes for local poets. Published by the South Broadway Ghost Society, Little Drops of Poetry Press, and ALOC Media, Lee’s work is made for performance. What does it mean to bring the page, off the page? That’s the driving question. If you find one of Lee’s poems in a book, go outside and scream it aloud, or whisper it to a blossom on your nightstand. Dance the page. Recent projects include AI’s Electric Reverie: Seeking AI’s Poetry Voice, aimed at reducing fear and expanding co-creative possibilities; Outside the Box: A Collection of Writers Block Poets; and, Turn Off the Lights, Goodnight, a collection of environmental dreamtime stories for kids.
