Love Poem From an Avocado
My seed slides out easily, only for you
As you bite into my green, silky pulp
Even though I am wrinkled and a little bit soft
I know you will still, always love me
As you mix me with spice and dip your best into me
Sinking your teeth in ravenously, consuming every bit
Taking my body, and making it part of your own
I prefer it when you keep me all to yourself
And I’m pretty sure, you do too
