Grass Shadows Cast on Snow
If stems and seed heads are beautiful,
so too their shadows quivering in the cold,
sketches drawn on the white unmarked morning.
Which will I be?
Grass bending in the wind
or shadows coming, going,
dependent on changing clouds?
