In her chapbook, “Holding: from Shtetl to Santa” published by Green Fuse Press in 2013, Lorrie describes a journey that covers 5,000 years; ranging from the exodus from Egypt, through Ellis Island, the loss of family and culture in the Holocaust; and travels right up to her 43-year marriage to Santa Claus. Really.
Lorrie’s writing has been published in Earth’s Daughters, Tulip Tree Review, Progenitor, Pooled Ink, Boardwalk Gallery’s Reflections and others. It has appeared in the anthologies, Mountains, Myths and Memories, (which she edited), Sunrise Summits (a finalist for the Colorado Book Award), Going Deeper, Improv, Poets on Track, and Poems from the North Forty
