Colorado Poets Center E-Words Issue #3

Do You Read Writing News?

If you occasionally browse the “Writing News” section of the Colorado Poets Center, you already know some recent publications of Colorado poets: Rawdon Tomlinson in South Dakota Review and Birmingham Poetry Review, Mark Irwin and Wendy Videlock in Poetry, Katie Kingston in Weber Studies, James Tipton in Pedestal, Steve Tompkins in Big Muddy, and you know that Anstett, Franklin, Hilberry, Hernandez, Kiefer, Knowlton, Latham, Morales, and Ransick appeared in Many Mountains Moving.

You also know that Mary Crow is forthcoming in Prairie Schooner and Verse and David Rothman in Blue Unicorn, The Journal, and Pilgrimage.

You know when Jeffrey Bahr appeared on Verse Daily, when Jessy Randall appeared in Ted Kooser’s “American Life in Poetry,” when Noah Eli Gordon got on “Poetry Daily” and David Keplinger on Garrison Keillor’s “Writers Almanac” and you’ve gotten the URL for on-line publications of David Feela, Shirley Sullivan, Anushka Anastasia Soloman, and Pamela Uschuck.

Check out the “Writing News” section of the CPC Website for more information on Colorado poet’s publications. And please let me know about your own by emailing Bob King at franklinbeth1309@gmail.com. This isn’t vanity or competitiveness; it’s a way of showing the success of Colorado’s community of poets.
