Colorado Poets Center E-Words Issue #15
Inside issue #15:
Grandmother Writing: Green Fuse
Northern Colorado’s Green Fuse Poetic Arts has announced a new branch of publishing for “women of the wisdom years.” Entitled Grandmother Editions, the line is dedicated to publishing short collections of poetry, fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction and prose-poetry by women of the wisdom years. Says Kathryn West “One need not be a biological grandmother to be wise, but in these times of cultural devolution the one who births wise words is precious and Grandmother Editions would like to support and disseminate this wisdom.”
If interested, send no more than 30 pages of “well-crafted” verse, prose or some combination thereof. Submit via –mail: greenfusepress@yahoo.com with Grandmother Editions in the subject box. There is no reading fee, but authors are requested to become a Green Fuse member or friend for $40 or $15 annually.
Also see announcements for two Green Fuse chapbook contests with December deadlines on the Colorado Poets Center site. Incidentally, Green Fuse Press has moved and the new address is GFPAA, 1000 W. Eisenhower #11, Loveland, CO 80537.
